Discover Economics is delivering an online Careers in Economics CPD event for school Careers Leaders & Advisers on 8th December 2022 from 2.00-3.00pm.
The aim of the event is to help careers staff gain more knowledge around the subject of Economics, the pathways in education and on into employment. This is especially aimed at schools who do not have an Economics teacher and where there is a gap in provision.
- Students who do not study a subject at school, nor take part in outreach activities associated with a subject, are unlikely to select it as a degree and a career option.
- Join this event to hear from guest speakers at London School of Economics & Political Science, Bank of England and Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office.
- Learn more so you can confidently guide your students and raise awareness of opportunities with Economics so we can increase diversity with those studying the subject at HE and becoming key policy makers in the future.
