Some Key resources to start with…

Vocational Profile Workbook

We have created a vocational profiling workbook to help young people and their supporters consider. record and share their strengths and needs as they move through different education and training stages towards adulthood.

This tool is designed to be used in 121 conversations with young people to help capture their thoughts and feelings about what will help them to succeed and provide a way of sharing that information when they move from one setting to another e.g. from school to apprenticeship; from college to supported internship; from one school to another.

We have included a supporter guide – this is to help supporters (professionals, mentors, parents, teachers etc) help young people to use this workbook.

To make this accessible to our wider community – both digital and print versions of this workbook plus supporter user guides can be downloaded directly using the links opposite ➡️

Our ‘latest news’ might be useful to keep up to date with national and local developments and initiatives.

On our ‘latest news’ page you’ll find both national and local updates.  ➡️

If you are on linkedin – we post regularly so give us a follow

We don’t have a facebook page, but if you are a facebook user, we would recommend following

  • some of the local careers and youth support organisations e.g. Future Focus (in Telford) Herefordshire Youth Employment Hub (Herefordshire), Enable (Shropshire), All about Youth (Shropshire and Telford)
  • some national careers information pages e.g. National Careers Service, Amazing Apprenticeships, Youth Employment UK
