Following the launch of DfE’s Get the Jump campaign in January 2022 and phase two over the summer exam results period, it has been announced that the campaign has now been launched again. This new phase of Get the Jump will run until December 2022 to reach young people as they start a new academic year and are considering their education and training choices.
DfE has taken learnings from the first two phases to optimise the campaign which will continue across out-of-home advertising, social media, search, radio and digital audio, online video, and broadcast video on demand. DfE’s successful partnership with Snapchat will resume and it will introduce advertising in cinema and will also see activity being piloted directly in schools with posters appearing in school canteens and common areas, along with direct to student materials being distributed.
