Breedon is a leading vertically-integrated construction materials group in Great Britain, Ireland and the USA.
We supply the construction industry with the essential materials needed to build the places where we live and work, play and in-between.
We use our core assets to produce valued-added downstream products, pulling through our aggregates and cement to deliver asphalt, ready-mixed concrete and surfacing solutions to the whole construction supply chain.
This is a fantastic opportunity for teaching staff/lecturers to learn about Breedon, the many job roles within the company and how this can be embedded into curriculum.
On the day attendees will find out about the company, progression pathways, key skills and curriculum links. You will receive a tour of the Quarry and receive first hand accounts of life at Breedon. There will be a Q & A session which will support you in understanding more about the company and how you can bring linked topics/curriculum to life with real world scenarios.
